April 28, 2014 - Busch Precision, Inc. has been awarded the 2014 Ethical Business Leadership Award from Concordia University Wisconsin. Members of the faculty and students from the School of Business Administration presented the award at a ceremony held at the Wisconsin Country Club on Friday, April 25.
Each year Concordia students identify individuals, corporations, or organizations that demonstrate ethically responsible management practices and submit a written nomination on their behalf. The award criteria requires recipients to treat employees and customers with dignity and respect, create a community corporate culture, emphasize quality, serve as a model of integrity, and consider the environment in all business activities.
"This is definitely a humbling yet greatly appreciated company honor," says Michael A. Mallwitz, President/CEO. "Busch Precision takes great pride in its 107-year tradition. Achieving the highest standards of quality has occurred with a culture that believes in ethical and respectful practices both internally and within the business community we serve."
Past recipients have included companies such as: SC Johnson, Kapco Inc., Baensch Food Products, UMOS, Steinhafels Furniture, Stone Creek Coffee, Johnson Controls Inc., Ozaukee Humane Society, and West Bend Mutual Insurance.
