Zeiss Prismo Navigator MASS CMM
One of Busch Precision's goals is to help you solve problems in a timely, cost-effective manner. To support this effort, we have invested in the Zeiss Prismo Navigator MASS Coordinate Measure Machine. This machine offers you the ability to measure and reverse engineer components to meet even the most demanding specifications. Because it is not always practical or convenient to remove components from an application, your project may require new, replacement, or repair considerations that make our CMM a perfect option for time and cost savings.
Busch Precision worked closely with Zeiss to design our Prismo to offer maximum flexibility and capability for you and your customers. We work with a wide range of parts, and our CMM reflects this. We can utilize the Vast Gold probe head and styli up to 800mm in length to reach deep into your large parts, or quickly switch to the articulating RDS/Vast XXT sensor for your small intricate parts. We also have the Laser LineScan sensor which can be used for fast profile measurement of your components or for quickly generating a point cloud to reverse engineer a broken or undocumented part. By utilizing Polyworks™ software to take the point cloud data from the laser and turn it into a solid model we can export your reading to CAD software. The integrated rotary table/4th Axis allows for faster and more accurate measurement of your most challenging round parts like cams, without reducing available Z height. We are not aware of any CMM at any other company in the region that will offer you the combination of size, accuracy, and multi-sensor flexibility that our Zeiss Prismo does.
Our Prismo is installed in a custom designed, climate controlled room for optimum measuring conditions for maximum results. The retractable roof allows for loading and unloading of large parts via overhead crane.
